Centre College Soccer Field

CARMAN provided Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering professional services for the new men’s and women’s soccer facility for Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. The new stadium consists of natural turf on a sand cap base providing a fast and top-level collegiate field. The new field has been instrumental in the university’s recruiting efforts.

Located on an existing brownfield development, the new soccer stadium has transformed the south end of campus, serving as the southern terminus of College Street along the edge of the athletic campus. The facility includes locker, training rooms and concessions for soccer as well as nearby softball and field hockey facilities. The new development included stormwater mitigation and has eliminated frequent flooding in the surrounding neighborhood.

CARMAN provided all necessary stormwater and sanitary sewer permitting through the City of Danville and provided construction administration services throughout the construction process.
