Frederick Douglass High School athletic complex

CARMAN provided landscape architecture and civil engineering service for the new Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington.  As part of the overall 64-acre development, CARMAN oversaw the development and design of the athletic complex which includes the following facilities:

• Baseball

• Softball

• 8 Tennis Courts

• Football

• Track

• Soccer

A field house and bleacher system was designed and engineered by CARMAN.  The football and soccer facilities were designed using a synthetic turf and the baseball and softball facilities are natural turf.
