Mary G. Hogsett Primary School

CARMAN worked with Studio Kremer on the site design and civil engineering services for the Mary G. Hogsett Primary School Renovations and Additions. The renovated school will house preschool through 1st grade and the site features many enhanced and new play spaces to support a wide range of play and learning types.

CARMAN’s work included design of the vehicular and pedestrian circulation, site utilities and storm water management and an enhanced playground package. Play spaces include a Natural Play Area which will also be open to the community when school is not in session, a preschool play area, music and play learning garden, a reflective space, small courtyards to support the arts, and a renovated kindergarten and 1st grade play area and paved area.
