AC Hotel by Marriott Louisville Downtown

CARMAN provided all landscape architectural and civil engineering services for the Marriott AC Hotel. The European hotel model is located in the revitalized corridor of East Market Street known as the Nulu Neighborhood, just east of downtown Louisville.

The overall scope of work included the 154-bed hotel building as well as retail and commercial space on the first level along East Market Street.

The 6-story building also provides a rooftop venue to take advantage of the direct sightlines from Nulu to Downtown Louisville. A second building, tucked behind the main hotel building, contains a parking garage with approximately 207 spaces that serves the entire property and provides additional public parking for the neighborhood. The East Market ground level had been designed for mixed-use retail.
