The MET Mixed-Use Development
Community Ventures | Lexington, Kentucky | 2021
The Midland Avenue Mixed-Use Development brings long needed retail and affordable housing to Lexington’s East End. The project includes a three-story, 75,000-square-foot building along Third Street.
The development features street-level, local owned retail below 44 residential units, 30% of which is affordable housing.
Noteworthy site design considerations include an inviting open plaza facing Midland Avenue and a pedestrian-sensitive street edge, ensuring a harmonious blend with the surrounding urban landscape.
The CARMAN office provided Landscape Architectural and Civil Engineering services.
